This project archives the salt marsh ecosystem by exposing photographic paper in the landscape at night. Salt marshes are among the Bay Area’s most biodiverse and essential habitats, but are fragile due to rising sea levels. The resulting prints preserve traces of the ecosystem; slugs. plant matter, and impressions of the marsh itself.
